Investing with Emperor is straightforward and transparent. The cost for an Emperor account varies depending on the total assets in your account:
For example, if you were to invest under $100,000, your tailor-made portfolios would come at a monthly cost of 0.05%. The monetary value of this cost is is based upon the amount of money invested. It is calculated by taking the average daily balance of your account(s) with Emperor for the month. If you were to invest our minimum account balance of $2,000 and the market value of your portfolio stayed the same, your cost would be $1 that month.
In addition to our service fee, a FINRA fee may appear as a Self Regulated Organization (SRO) fee on your account. When stocks are sold, our custodian Folio Investments charges this fee and passes it along to fund its government sanctioned regulator, FINRA. Currently, the SRO fee is approximately $0.000022 for each dollar of securities sold, which comes to $0.22 for $10,000 sold.
Emperor also does not cover additional fees charged by Folio such as wire transfer fees and taxes, paper statement fees, bounced checks fees, etc. For additional information on Folio’s pricing click here.
