At Emperor, we make it our mission to ensure your sensitive information is protected. We use the strongest encryption available, employ secure servers, identity verification services, and many other features that meet security best practices. In fact, many of Emperor's security protocols are the same as those used by big banks.
But we go beyond that.
- Emperor never stores the really sensitive stuff, like your full SSN or banking info.
- You can choose to enable two-factor authentication, which will require you to input a code sent to your email or phone in addition to your password each time you log in.
- Emperor tracks the security activities on your account. These include logins/logouts, updates to account information, password resets, and two-factor authentication enabling/disabling and code requests. You can view this information in the Security section of the Settings page on our platform.
If you'd like, you can even check the validity of Emperor's encryption certificate by clicking the lock icon in your browser (see below).
It's always a good idea not to give your personal information to any website that isn't secure. And even if it is, it's important to do your due diligence to make sure the company is legitimate. Trustworthy investment advisors like Emperor Investments are registered with the SEC which exists to protects investors in the U.S. You can view our registration and filings directly on the SEC's website here.
